In the final scene of W., Bush is watching a clip from the UT v. Miami game at the CWS. Thought that was cool until Miami scores a run and the announcer goofs saying that Texas scored the run giving them the lead.

yep... they showed lee jackson fumble recovery for a TD against LSU in the cotton bowl too.

that baseball game against miami was from 2003. we smoked them in game on 13-2 and the second game we played them was an elimination game that Texas won

The reality was Miami scored. The annoucer's voice was the voice in W's head telling him Texas had scored. "Mission Accomplished"

I watched that movie today, and did a little research: the only year during Bush's two terms in which Texas & Miami played each other at the CWS was 2003. Texas & Miami played each other twice that year in Omaha; Texas won both games (13-2 and 5-1). Also, the announcer in the movie said the score was 2-1 Texas, but the box scores from those two games show that the score was never 2-1 Texas (or 2-1 Miami, for that matter).
