Former Texas quarterback Vince Young is being sued over an alleged 2014 incident in which a woman claims he pulled her hair while “extremely intoxicated.”

A lawyer representing Young [said] the lawsuit “is a clear attempt to extract money from Mr. Young,” and said his client intends to countersue.

In her lawsuit seeking $250,000, the accuser alleges that Young assaulted her and pulled her hair while riding in a vehicle after a 2014 NCAA tournament game. The woman claims lost wages and medical expenses.

But Young’s attorney said she made the same accusations to Young a year ago, and his legal team interviewed witnesses who were in the vehicle and said the alleged assault never happened.

This is an old ploy to weasel money out of a celeb. VYs attorney stated that this is a "frivolous" lawsuit, which if proven, carries monetary sanctions against the attorney and potentially against the plaintiff in addition to any defamation award. Using the old "smell test", this thing really stinks. The attorney is hoping that the suit will settle for about half of what was asked with a 40/60 split with the plaintiff.

There is a very simple and logical explanation for this. You see, VY was demonstrating to somebody in a bar that he does indeed have a perfect motion when throwing a pass and that all the talk and chatter throughout his career is false, it's flawless. We all know it's not true.

What happened is that while demonstrating his arm and hand dropped to shoulder height and caught some of the woman's hair. See? Simple misunderstanding and explanation.

Seriously, I wish the very best for VY who is truly an ambassador for UT and one as passionate about UT than anybody that comes to mind.
