Hoge actually makes a good point <gasp>. Vince may have considered retiring after his rookie season . . . but in the end, he didn't quit. Perhaps he analyzed the situation and realized retirement wasn't the best course of action.

"Considering" something once doesn't mean that it's always an option in the future.
