VW Repair Question

Some lady just backed into my tail light in the parking lot. Does anybody have any recommendations for a replacement? I've only been to Charles Maund and know that won't be the best place to get it fixed.

Underground VW on Lamar. Owner is Toby - great guy. The guy who does most of the work is Tom, who's kinda surly, but he does a great job, and explains everything well. Give 'em a call at 452-6696.

Assuming you are in Austin, I used to take my '74 bug to Boer's German Motorworks. They work on the newer models as well. Honest and good repair for a decent price.

You're welcome...?

What did you mean by "you've never experienced a shop like it?" Just curious.

BTW: I've been taking my VW there since it went out of warranty about 76,000 miles ago. It's nice having only one person working on your car. You know them, they know you, a lot more trust, and they really take care of you.

I don't have much experience with mechanics - mostly just dealer mechanics - so I have never dealt with somebody as nice and friendly as Toby. He explained everything in great detail to me.

Also, I love the 'metaphysical volkswagen repairs' slogan.
