vs Texas Tech

The whole Big12 seems to have this problem, but it's not clear if the teams are great at home or terrible on the road or both.

Team's overall and Big 12 record is better than expected, but they have regressed during the last two weeks.

If the opponent gets a tie game with 5 minutes left, we a done. No go to scorer.

As said above, road games are hell in the Big12. The best teams dropped a good number of games they shouldn't have on the road. The Horns hit a nasty road stretch at the end (ISU, KU, OU). The top 3 teams. Should have expected to drop those. We beat 2 of the 3 on our turf. The Tech game was a weak loss, but don't forget Tech lost to KU by a single point at home and also knocked off OSU (with Smart scoring 22). Certainly was no gimme type of foul up.

The conf tourney will shake things out and show who is for real and who's pretending. The home-road rollercoaster factor will be somewhat muted, Especially with Texas, since West VA and OU in the first 2 games would be neutral court games. Just glad we didn't draw the other side and play KSU early, and won't play KU unless we get to finals. If either of those matchups take place it'll basically be another road game for us. Which each and every year I think is ******** and a huge, unfair advantage for those schools.
