Who would look good on the tickets to go with Trump and Hillary?

For Trump, my initial suggestion would be Arizona Senator Jeff Flake. He's competent, well-spoken and more of a problem solver than a headline grabber. He wouldn't bring a lot of enemies and he'd be a useful complement to the bombastic guy at the top of the ticket.

From a purely entertainment standpoint (and as a gift to Hillary) my choices would be Rick Perry, Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann. Those folks could generate enough nonsense to give the Daily Show some relevance, even without Jon Stewart.

On the Democratic Side, I see a dearth of competent, charismatic candidates with a national following. Elizabeth Warren has a national following and is well-liked in the party. Corey Booker would add some color to the ticket, but he'd bring baggage to the campaign that already needs an extra widebody to carry around all the unwanted luggage that comes with Hillary and Bill.

I just heard Sen. Flake interviewed on NPR and I regret suggesting him for GOP VP. He'd need to be outside in the midafternoon Phoenix sun for about 4 hours this July to even be lukewarm to Trump.

I want Palin or Hastert

It must be interesting to view this election from a comedic perspective. My eldest son (17) wants Trump to be POTUS for that same reason. He'd be "entertaining" because the stupid **** he says. I'd laugh with him if the reality wasn't so serious.
