Voting in Historic Egyptian Elections Enters Day 2

This reminds me of the first round of voting in Iraq, when many anti-democratic sympathizers were insisting that the voting should be postponed because of the violence. The same thing was happening in Egypt over the last few weeks. But the voting has gone amazingly smoothly so far, with very high turnout. Once again, similar to what we saw in Iraq.
Also, I remember many people insisting that the people in the Middle East countries were, for some reason, not suitable for living within a democratically elected government. Again and again, we see how wrong that was.

Let this be another lesson to people who think like this.
