what's the scoop on this place? wife and I are taking our 4 year old boy to a water park this saturday. schlitterbahn is not an option. anyone been out to this place?

Not since they made it into a waterpark.

I was worried that they'd be under water, but I see from the website they plan to open this weekend.

Call first. They were under water big time last week. The restaurant was going to open, but I doubt the water park is ready.

Why is Schlitterbahn out of the question? Take him to a real waterpark.

Definitely call first. The lower part of the park has been underwater for a week. Even if they're no longer submerged, it'll probably take them a while to clean up.

Also, part of 2769 has been closed due to the flooding as well, so you might have to go into Volente the back way.
