Vizio LCD TV

Be careful. Cheap LCD screens can blur fast moving action, like football. My inlaws were so damn proud of their new big screen, I didn't have the heart to tell them that it's not supposed to look like that.

They can also have a problem with the color black. Walked by the screens in Wally World once to take a peak, and they had some concert on. The singer chick was wearing a black skirt, and I'm not exaggerating even a little bit, but where the end of the skirt met her thigh, the black was as blocky as an old Atari game.

I think I've sworn off buying a big screen until I can figure out which technology is the best: lcd/dlp (don't hear much about that anymore, but my sis has one and it is AWESOME)/led. It's just too damn confusing at the moment, and way to easy to make a 2k+ mistake.

I've had a 42" Vizio LCD for 4 years. I haven't had any problems whatsoever. It doesn't have any 'blur'.

ditto what pevo said.

Bought one for my gf a year and a half ago. works like a charm. i've never noticed a blur.

I was attracted to it because it's manufactured locally.

Good product.

Most liekly the problems you see are not with the TV's, but either with the signal its receiving or some other setup issue.

The color black does sometimes pixelate into blue squares.. but this is very rare and has never happened to me while watching anything important (such as Football).

My friend has a 32 LCD from Vizio and is looks good. You cant go wrong getting any HD tv. If you are still living in Standard Def, anything will be a huge upgrade.

Have a vizio and a Sony and will buy vizio again over paying more for sony. But if you don't have a good HD signal then it can look horrible with any brand, you see a lot of things that you wouldn't on a standard TV.
