Visiting Mexico (non US citizen)

Can a non-US citizen, but a permanent resident (green card holder) visit Mexico for leisure? I mean, would this have to involve travel visas/consulates etc?

Country of citizenship is India, if that matters.

Yes you can visit, and if you have a green card, you might not need a visa. But even if you need a visa, it's really easy to get...
