Virginia getting screwed against LSU

I haven't watched the entire game, but every time I turn the game on the refs are missing calls that are going in LSU's favor. Virgina had a triple that was called a foul. It was somewhat close, but still a fair ball by 2 feet that was called foul. Is this normal for the CWS?

And what is with the strike zone? Ump is being more than generous to the pitcher on some of those strike calls.

No joke... the umpiring has sucked all day. Missed calls that come to mind:

1. Fullerton batter gets hit in the left elbow (on his elbow guard) and they call it a ball. They must have claimed he did not try to get out of the way, but that is B.S.
2. The potential triple (since it was to left I would guess a double) that you referenced. No doubt fair. Inexcusable.
3. This "hit-by-pitch" on the bunt. Sorry, but I would have called a foul ball. He stuck the bat out and it is debatable that he pulled the bat back in time to call it no offer. Hell, you can't have a HBP on a swing/foul ball.

Overall, there have been too many obvious calls that were missed... not to mention the travelling strike zone.

As mentioned all game, the LSU and Virginia coaches are good friends. They deserved a more evenly called game.

I realize that missed calls are part of the game that we all have to live with, but it's disappointing when they tend to go one way.
