Violence by OWS-Oakland

There are riots going on in Oakland, everywhere really, yet not a single reference to the words angry mob, violent, racist, etc. It is almost like this is being reported as legitimate angst by the media. In the posted article by the AP, the word chaos is used. Chaos...good generic word choice for all the violent and criminal activity going on....even the whitehouse is endorsing this behavior. Next November can't get here early enough.

Both the Tea Party and the OWS protestors have some legitimate points. Passion is useful politically. Bad behavior weakens political impact. Following rules, picking up after yourself and respecting private business are non-negotiable for anyone expecting sympathy or support from me.
 
I lived in "Jokeland" for 8 years. This kind of nutty behavior by street thugs and bums is actually pretty typical for Oakland. They're basically in a perpetual state of rioting.

That doesn't mean they aren't violent filthy and disrespectful of the places they squat, do drugs, steal rape and the businesses around where they defecate urinate and trash
or disrepectful and violent to the polcie.

The pics coming out of Oakland are really horrible.


Anyone who thinks these people really care about their country are as delusional as the protestors who are causing all this destruction all over the country.

#1, "99%" wouldn't classify this type of behavior as acceptable. More like 1%.

#2, why isn't the leadership of these protests doing more to control the problems and violence? As an outsider I see this behavior happening, but the people putting their face in front of cameras day after day seem to downplay the violence, sexual assaults, and property damage....Not a good image to put forth.

there are protests and riots in multiple locations. they deserve separate threads. i cant help it if you support these thugs, they are probably your type of people. if you dont like it, dont read it.
 
Isn't this capitalism? When BOA announced a $5 fee, I wondered if other banks would follow or if they would wait and react to the market.

A few followed, but now all have decided to retract their strategy because the market told them it was a bad idea.

I am all for these people expressing their first amendment rights as long as they do not destroy property or block free trade. When they do, I expect the police to come in and remove them.
 
Many of them appear to be protesting just to be protesting. Destroying property, crapping in the streets, etc . . . Most are a bunch of losers to begin with. They have no credibility whatsoever. To date, they have yet to clearly articulate their position. Anarchy would suit a large number of them. An occasional bath would benefit them. And the term "morons" would describe them.
