VIETNAMESE EGGROLLS

Vietnamese eggrolls were part of my weekly diet when I attended UT back in the 70's. Loved those things, tasty, and they were within my budget. There used to be a stand in a white building across from Dirty's that had good ones.

Where is the place to go for a good vietnamese eggroll today? I am thinking about heading to Austin for the state track meet this weekend and would like to feast on a few.
Thanks in advance.

If it's Vietnemese you're looking for, you have to goto Kim Phung's. Don't order that Schezuan(sp?) crap, like the sweet and sour stuff, go straight for the authentic like the pho or vermicelli. Awesome stuff, huge portions, and super cheap. They have non-fried, raw spring rolls that are the bomb. Ask for a side of peanut sauce for dippin.

Definitely go to Kim Phung on N. Lamar right before 183. They have really good food there in general, but their Vietnamese eggrolls w/ lettuce and fish sauce are great.

Believe: I think you are wrong, but my answer could be outdated. We used to go to a place called "Twin Dragon" on North Lamar by the old Chuy's. I remember it being good...and I eat vietnamese every week in nyc now.
