Is there a cheaper way to get heartworm and flea preventatives than directly from your vet? I think to get these treatments on-line, and cheaper, you have to have a prescrip from your vet. I'm not sure and would appreciate feedback. Thanks.

been using these guys for years. Very inexpensive. The stuff ships from Australia so you have to order a few more days in advance to get whatever you need on time. No scrip needed to get the same stuff you'd get from your vet.

Maybe wal-Mart also.

At HEB, I think all you need to do is bring in the old box, especially if there's a prescription sticker on it.

Is the stuff items like Heartguard or Iverheart or just Hartz? I never go down the pet aisle at HEB so I have never looked.

I get my flea stuff from Bark n Purr.
