Yeah, trail of lights kinda blows. It's just a corporate shin-dig.

Circle C is supposed to have some stuff up, and of course there is always 37.5th st. However, by far the greatest spectacle of holiday illumination was in River Oaks. Un-frickin-beleivable is the only way to describe it.

GOO, I was there sat. around 7:00 and I know what you mean.
We parked by Butler softball fields (actually a side street) and walked.
It was packed.

Some of the small towns around Austin (e.g., Johnson City, Blanco, Taylor, Marble Falls) go all out on their light displays on courthouses, etc.
