Verlander and rain

very interesting to me, this weather. Forecast on weather.com shows 30% chance of rain this afternoon and 60% chance tonight. I wonder of MLB will do the unthinkable again, do no-rain rain-out?

But, tomorrow is the same 60% chance, so the time to play the game is this afternoon, ironically after all the complaining I've done about the day games, what really needs to happen is to play the game earlier in the afternoon so they get the game in.

I know they won't move the game up earlier, but they need to finish the game before whatever time the percentages move from 30 to 60.

If they interrupt the game for rain, I think the Tigers almost have to bring Verlander back, they're pretty much done in their bullpen, and we don't have much either.

so the Tigers fans should be doing rain dances all day today, and if the 60% holds for tomorrow, they won't even try to resume Friday, so the Tigers pitching staff could get some rest and they chances of rain fall to 30% on Saturday.

Would MLB push the Rangers home games to Sunday Monday, just so Det. could get a full home game without the rain on Saturday?

This could become a big mess.

The Detroit staff is shot but Texas is not in much better shape. No Texas starter has gotten out of the sixth inning. Amazingly the Rangers lead 3-1 and no starter has a win in the series.

Ogando needs a day to recover and Feldman/Adams/Oliver and Feliz have all logged at least two days of work over past three days. CJ really needs six or seven good innings today.

Feldman has been absolute nails the last 2 outings. Outside of the 0-2 hr he game up to Inge, Ogando has been tough also. I'd like to see either one get a start in the WS.
