I had canceled my fios after the first year due to all of the nickel and diming adding up.
It looks like the deal, if you have it available to your house, is pretty good now if you sign up via the internet:

I opted for the 89.99 triple play which includes 2 hd set top boxes for 24 months.(no add ons, no hbo type service) I would expect the fees and such to be about 20$ more per month but won't know that till I get the first bill.
time warner had raised their rates again to make the similar deal, although it includes all taxes and fees, to be at 130$ per month.
We'll see if the Verizon Fios experience is better this time.
