Verizon DSL modem

Our 4 year old Verizon DSL modem crapped out. We need a new one. Verizon tech suggested we go out and buy a new one from a retailer.

Any suggestions? We just need the modem. We have a separate wireless router.

We are in central Texas (if that matters).
