Ventastega - new discovery

Even as creationists continue their mantra of “where are the transitional forms?”, paleontologists continue to dig up bones (well, fossilized bones). Earlier we heard about Tikaalik, a tetrapod-like fish (http://www.newscientist.com/channel/life/mg19125681.500-meet-your-ancestor--the-fish-that-crawled.html;jsessionid=NDHPCECNAGNA ), now we have Ventastega curonica, as fish-like tetrapod (http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2008/06/ventastega.php ).

The gaps grow ever narrower.
