I have to go to Vegas the weekend of Texas/OU.

Anyone have any recommendations as to where to watch the game? I'll probably need ready access to alcohol.

Sorry, but MGM does not suck at all. It is easily my favorite, with much more comfortable chairs than Mandalay Bay and more/better TV's.

If you are looking for free drinks, you will have to head over to the Hilton or some place like that. Most on the strip do not comp drinks very well any more..

Hilton's got a huge sports book but sucks that its off the strip. MGM is huge and may be hard to get a seat. Paris' is small and Bally's was pretty rowdy when I was there a couple of weeks ago. If you are thinking about watching NFL games on Sunday, make sure you get there early to get a seat (anywhere). HIlton opens up their theater and its a cool place to go watch a game along with their sportsbook.

Don't say you "have" to go to Vegas. You "get" to go to Vegas! OU or not, I'd be in Vegas in a heartbeat if I got to go.

No, I have to go to Vegas for work.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I don't like to gamble, and I don't like to go to restaurants. I'll probably just get drunk and watch football. Maybe catch a show or something.

I'll second the MGM. The biggest and best sports book IMO.

btw, if you don't like to gamble or eat at nice restaurants, then Vegas doesn't have a lot to offer you.
