Vegas Poker Rooms

I am going to Vegas on the 15th of November for 3 days and staying at the Bellagio. I was interested in trying a Texas Hold 'Em room but have never played in a casino room--only in friendly games in homes. Is there a place that is accommodating for a novice; i.e., you're not made to feel like **** if you make a mental error. I'm willing to drop a couple of hundred just for the experience factor on a $2/$4 game, but probably not any more than that.

One etiquette question: once you're seated, when is it proper to leave? I mean if you hit a couple of big pots and don't want to risk anymore, do you leave at that point or is that bad form? If there are any web sites that might provide some clues on this? Thanks.

Excalibur has a good beginner's room.

As far as leaving the table, the chips are yours and you can leave whenever you want. That said, I usually try and play one more round before leaving if I happen to win a huge pot--however, there is no real obligation to do so.

Playing $2/$5, you should avoid most of the poker "experts". They tend to gravitate towards the $1/$2 table.

allvegaspoker is a great resource to figure out where to play. I tend towards MGM b/c that's my favorite sportsbook.
