Sweep!

Question: Do you have to be obese to watch a volleyball game at ou?

You are right on that. Seemed to be a fair number of Horn fans at the match. Wish we could get bigger crowds at home. Our team is terrific and very entertaining. 2 genuine All Americans in Eckermann and Webster. McNeal and Bell are not far behind.

More than just a sweep, this was a major smackdown!

The first game was a struggle, with the 'Horns down 18-20 and 22-23 before winning it with three straight points. When Texas went up 7-4 in Game #2 it was the first three point lead of the match for either team. From there it was all Texas: 25-10 and 25-8.

Hitting Percentages:
TEXAS OU
1 .389 .469
2 .905 .125
3 .550 -.077
T .571 .195[/pre]

That .905 in Game #2 is insane! Texas was 19/21, zero errors, and it was 19/19 on attacks by the hitters. The only thing OU "dug" in game #2 was a pair of setter dumps.

The .571 overall was second best in school history (best: 590 against Rice on November 1, 1982) The 41 total points for OU were the fewest allowed by Texas in the series since the start of rally scoring in 2001 (Previous low: 42 points, Sept. 22, 2012.)

Fantastic job, ladies!

It still only counts as one win, though, so keep the FOCUSNESS.
