During the LBSU match last weekend, they switched from a 6-2 offense to a 5-1 offense with Engle being the primary setter. Ever since then, it's only been Engle. I actually saw the match online and thought UT came out flat but regrouped as the match progressed (evident of the score). Great match overall.
Mihelle Kocher is fine. Jerritt Elliott is experimenting. With Ashley setting, we beat Long Beach, San Diego and Cal. Since the focus is, and should be, to win, this makes sense.
Michelle Kocher is a great setter. Hope Jerritt finds a way to get both her and Ashley involved in the offense!!
Michelle is a very fine setter unfortunately she's not 6'3". Last night with Ashley setting we had 20 blocks for the match. Penn State led the nation last year with 3.xx blocks per set. Last night we averaged 5 blocks a set. If we continue to pass well without Ashley, then having a 6'3" setter will let us block extremely well.
