Congrats to sophomore MB Khat Bell, sophomore OH Haley Eckerman, senior OPP Sha'Dare McNeal, and junior OH Bailey Webster for being named to the 2012 AVCA All Region Team (Central)!

Way to go, ladies!

Have to wonder what it takes for a Texas setter to ever get some recognition!

Hannah Allison was named to the NCAA All-Austin Regional team.

I agree she does not seem to get all the recognition she is due. If a big part of a setter's job is to take a bad pass and make it hittable, she's done that better than anybody in the country, in my book.

She has established a great connection with all kind of different hitters. Remember that connection she had with Rachael Adams? She puts it where Bailey and Haley can tee off. All these UT high hitting percentages came from somewhere.

Also, she's super athletic and quick, a great blocker, and great on D.

But it's OK. She may soon have the ultimate college volleyball recognition.
