huh, kbrown?  peter is a very good player, but he's a good deal smaller than santos, and is likely to play either outside lb or maybe a hybrid lb/safety role.

santos is big and stout, and i think people are looking at him at mlb.  i'd really like to see him wear our colors, but with the staff turnover and all, we were late getting into the mix with him.  also, i think the numbers situation may make that not a possibility.   my impression is that coach blood wasn't interested in santos, and that probably means he should avoid the sec.  *wink*wink*

that said, i really look forward to seeing jenkins put on our hat.  excellent football player.

I have a close relative in Van who said our staff is very impressed with Santos and we would like to offer but we don't have room for him.

On a side note I am hoping Jermie Calhoun leaves ou without any success against us.
