The political right will embrace her because Liberalism is far worse than Caitlyn would be in their mind. It's the same reason Trump was embraced. Liberalism must be marginalized. That's also my position as you well know. There is no compromise in my mind towards Liberalism. We need Democrats and moderate Republicans, but in a 2-party system it's one or the other. Liberals are completely unacceptable in every way.

That is why they would support Caitlyn.

If it were an actual one R vs one D sort of election, it would get interesting. However, a recall means that there will be 15-20 people tossing hats into the ring, none of whom likely draw specific support at the national level.
 
Caitlyn Jenner is "mentally ill" per the definition used to define transgendered people by a few on this board but the Right will happily support her over an Democrat because they are convinced the latter is "evil". Let that sink in, they'll happily support someone they believe is mentally ill to be governor simply because they disagree with someone else's political views.

How odd that you presume that Jenner will be the only person to throw a hat into the ring. Further, in a run-off, there really is not the D/R issue at play such as in a general election. As the California process has been handled in the past, if you are in favor of the recall, the ballot then asks who on the list you would select as a replacement.

That being said, even if it came down to just the two of them, a rock sitting on a patio is a better option than Newsom.
 
Rose McGowan calls the democrat party a cult now. Recognizes the hypocrisy and also the fact that the democrat party has not achieved anything for women or minorities in 50 years.

I think their current governor is a ****-show, and if I lived in California, I'd pretty much settle for anything else that would be different. However, Jerry Brown wasn't crazy. (Full disclosure - he was crazy back in the '70s when he was banging Linda Ronstadt.) Even Gray Davis wasn't crazy. He didn't know what the hell he was doing with the power problem, which is why he was recalled, but he wasn't crazy. Arnold wasn't crazy. Pete Wilson wasn't crazy. I'm not saying any of these guys are my style (including the Republicans), but they were within the zone of santity.

Good point SH. I do not support Jenner's political ambitions. In some cases maybe a mentally ill person is the better choice though. Hopefully, there is some one better to run against lord Newsom.
