FYI, UTEP is getting hammered by Buffalo 42-17 w/ about 3 minutes left in the game.

Although I am still weary about playing UTEP in El Paso, I feel a little more comfortable now.

Ouch. I don't know much about Buffalo this year, except to say that they have been horrible ever since they joined Div. I-A (or whatever they call it now) a few years ago. Maybe they are improving.

Just peeked at the stats on the game. The UTEP QB got picked three times, and the UTEP O only managed a measly 266 yards of total offense. Not good.

UTEP getting worked this badly tonight is very surprising. They are definitely going to have their work cut out for them to hang with the Longhorns next week.

I feel it was expected. They were horrible last year, and not really anticipating much of an increase this year. Just because someone stays within two TDs of Tech and beats SMU in OT doesn't mean they're going to be world beaters next season.
