Great analysis of the game.

I completely agree with everything he said. The point I wanted people to note was Colt bailing too early. I know it has been said before but it still warants discussion. We need VY to talk to him. Although he will bail on the pocket (and burn some fool deep) he has had to learn to stay in the pocket more in the NFL and not try to beat teams all by himself.

I'm not as happy about the playcalling as Scipio is. It was fine against FAU, but we tried our darndest to be predictable, especially in the run game, against UTEP. No wonder they guessed right on most of Vondrell's carries - all of us watching the game were guessing right too. I love the play call on Shipley's 4th quarter TD, but that's about the only creative thing I remember us doing all game long.

Agree 100% with the criticism of our S program. Can't really call it S&C at this point.
