UTEP depth chart

Not as many 'ors' as last week.

Lewis starting at DT with Houston not making the trip this week.

Huey listed as backup at both OG positions, plus listed as or at LG.

Fozzy listed in 2 deep at TB.

True frosh Randall listed in 2 deep at DT and should get real playing time this week.

E. Acho listed in 2 deep at OLB ahead of Earnest.

Norton listed as 'or' with Bobino. Man he played great last week, can't wait to see him start one week. He deserves it with his effort on the field.

Brewster listed ahead of Wells at safety. Still don't understand why Bells has dropped on the depth chart.

Gideon looks to be the guy at FS...ooops I mean Left Safety

Cu. Brown listed as backup at CB and I think we see quite a bit of him this week.

"Brewster listed ahead of Wells at safety. Still don't understand why Bells has dropped on the depth chart."

Look up "Gatewood, Tyrell" in the dictionary.

Honestly, I hope we get to see Fozzy this week. McGee prefers a little bit too much contact. It's nice when Colt is the leading rusher, but only if he gets a ton of yards like last week.

I don't mind Norton being an "or" with Bobino. Although the coaches have caught a lot of crap for playing Derry and Killebrew, I feel like Bobino at least has a modicum of skill necessary to succeed. He always seems to understand where to be, even if he can't quite seem to get there.

All-in-all, it doesn't really matter who's on the 2-deep for UTEP. We're going to beat them pretty badly. I'm interested how the playing time chips fall once we make the trip to Boulder.

Kicker is an interesting situation. They announced that Lawrence was kicking because Bailey was hurt, but then Bailey was out there kicking in the 4th quarter. Now Lawrence is listed ahead of him on the depth chart. Weird.

I think they said Lawrence was nursing a strained hammy, but he must have been well enough to kick an extra point after the outcome of the FAU game was already decided. He must be feeling better if he's expected to be the top guy on Saturday.

Bailey had the strained hammy.

Actually I just read where Mack says the job is Lawrence's.
Killibrew and Derry start every game last year, but Ryan Bailey gets benched his senior year? He's like our most accurate kicker since.... ever. Very strange deal.

Bobino has 39 career starts and he is the starter at MLB. But after Norton played like he did I would like to see the coaches reward that play with a start. Would send a message to all the younger guys as well.
