Big win for UTA ... 7-3 over OSU.

We get UTA tomorrow, OSU over the weekend.

In other news, #5 Irvine loses @ #12 San Diego ... #7 Rice smokes #8 A&M ... #13 Huskers beat #6 Wichita St ... #19 Coastal Carolina beats #16 UVA ... USC beats #18 Fullerton.

Big win for mah boys last night, needed that one after getting smoked in Oklahoma last weekend.

One series at a time, take care of biz the rest of the way and we should be a national #8 at the end of the year.

It Texas doesn't make the CWS, I'll be pulling for NU. Huskers in Omaha always make my annual summer vacation more interesting ...

Last year the fans were mostly blah.

In other news, with some of those wins BH mentioned, some teams are making HUGE statements regarding potential postseason prospects, namely Rice and San Diego.

Texas could join that list with a series win this weekend. I don't know why, but I get that feeling that if Texas has just that ONE big series win, that you're going to see them go off on a huge run at the end of the season.

Kyle Russell is about to go off and hoist the team on his shoulders. We need a modicum of pitching to go with that, and I think we'll take off.

dont worry you guys...UTA's not that good...they have lost to DBU 3 times already this year...

im a student at UTA btw...

Just got back from the game...we had a lot of at'em balls, their SS made a couple of FABULOUS plays, and we just couldn't get a big hit when we needed it (with the wind blowing out of LF at 25 MPH). Games like this happen sometimes. The Torres error didn't hurt us tonight; the foul ball that dropped between him, Russell, and Shepard did, though - it wound up being the winning run, as the next pitch went for a (you guessed it) line drive base hit about six inches away from Tucker's dive.

We have Chance starting Friday; let's win the conference game.

A down year in baseball but not the end of the world. UT does not have the pitching or defense this year.
