I got this link from one of the UT email blasts that come through my inbox. I like these kind of pictures that show an old and new picture beside each other. Look at the old cars outside Gregory Gym in the 1930's. Now, I'm not sure if we can drive a car down that stretch.

Awesome, I love these old photos. Those cars in front of Gregory!

I especially like the tower construction photo, never saw that before. I can never look at the tower without thinking about my Spanish professor who had an office up there, I think it was the 23rd floor iirc. A couple of us had missed an exam and so we went to her office to make it up. There was no room in her office so I sat in one of the south-facing windows looking towards the Capitol while I did the written portion. One of many good memories from those days.

This shot from the tower is interesting. The six-pack had not yet been built on the south mall (1936).
