UT Then & Now

Awesome, I love these old photos. Those cars in front of Gregory!

I especially like the tower construction photo, never saw that before. I can never look at the tower without thinking about my Spanish professor who had an office up there, I think it was the 23rd floor iirc. A couple of us had missed an exam and so we went to her office to make it up. There was no room in her office so I sat in one of the south-facing windows looking towards the Capitol while I did the written portion. One of many good memories from those days.
 
This shot from the tower is interesting. The six-pack had not yet been built on the south mall (1936).
