Pretty entertaining game on espnu. Horns up 8 with 9 minutes left. They are not shooting that well but a lot of energy.

Owls were trailing by 16 but have cut it to 6. Horns not playing as well in the 2nd as they did the 1st half. They're a young team and this game is a good learning experience for them. Barnes just needs to settle them down some.

Need to take better care of the ball, a couple of unforced turnovers, but still up 6 and at the line.

How was that called a jump ball? Yes he got blocked but he still got rid of it before he hit the ground.

Barnes needs to put Felix back in. Up only 3. Taylor doesn't seem to be making good decisions right now.

My bad on wanting Felix back in he made worse decisions. Horns with 3-4 straight turnovers now down 3 and doesn't look good. This team is what it is. Young guards and haven't withstood the pressure if Temple's run.

Our guards were turnover machines in the last five minutes, but the guys hung in and won a tough one on the road.

Nice win!

I'm puzzled by this team. It's hard to look up and down the roster and say "he's a leader" or "that guy is reliable for a shot" or "watch out for his skills."

It's a risk to pick Texas to win pretty much any game, yet they are 8-1 right now. And fooling the nation, too, it seems, as several announcers from other games were touting the upcoming MSU/Texas and UNC/Texas events as "must watch." I seriously doubt we'll win either, but who knows?

I think we'll come back down to earth, especially once the conference slate gets going, but the Temple game was fun to watch. Well, the first half was. And Felix's last shot.

Sounds weird but I think they got the best of both worlds in this game. They got to choke away a lead and learn a pretty hard lesson, but they still got the W that's going to help them out come selection time. Hopefully watching that tape and having gone through that run will pay off in conference play.
