I drove by the Butler's house this morning on the way to work. To call it "modest" would be to understate things quite a bit. I realize he's a doctor, but they clearly built their fortune the old-fashioned way -- they lived a fairly frugal lifestyle and made smart investments. Impressive.

Michael Jackson's catalog is worth way more than $55M. With as much as his music gets sampled and re-released, I bet it would be a good investment.
