UT got 'more' tickets to BCS Championship

I got an email this evening from UT that said they got additional tickets, but, they would be $275 instead of $200. I donated more than $1500, but, not a lot more, so, I am guessing the cutoff for the initial ticket allocation was above the $1500 mark. Not sure how far above.

"The University of Texas was able to obtain additional tickets for the 2010 Citi BCS National Championship in Pasadena, CA where Texas will play Alabama. While our initial allotment of tickets was priced at $200, the BCS agreement requires that any additional tickets allotted to the participating schools be provided at the public price of $275. With this additional allotment of tickets we were able to fulfill your ticket request. However, you will be charged $275 per ticket."

But, we are going!

It doesn't say how many more!! I'm sure someone will call the LHF office tomorrow and find out how many more tickets UT received!!!

Donated $1800.00 and just got the $275.00 email...cut off appears to be higher than $1500.00 on the first go round.

Me either. Everything I've heard from folks with "inside info" or who "have a friend" say that nobody @ $1500 was getting tickets on first go round, or on this latest addition.

Heard $1500 and cume $4500+ was the magic number.

We got the email last nigh that the University aquired addition tickets and was able to fill our request (donate $1500 and have cume of approx $20k)
