This could get very interesting, but money talks and it probably has the backing of most fans. It has it's good and bad points, but it will most likely be implemented.

Why the hell not... it's not like the majority of the student body isn't already buzzed... and many of the tailgaters are pretty much loaded by the time they enter the stadium.

It would make the game day experience more rowdy and perhaps keep some of the fans in the stadium longer. oh lets not for get the main reason $$$$$$.

Probably a mistake. There are quite a few people right now that sober up during the three+ hour game.

also add hash pipes and hookers and I am for it.

The drunks now are usually fairly sobered up by halftime.

But for some people getting drunk enhances any experience

Didn't realize there were do many teetotalers here.

I'm in, and I imagine that the powers-that-be would seriously look at $6-7-8 cups of beer X thousands of cups per game X 6-7 home games = nice extra revenue, which they dearly love.

If they sold 20,000 cups a game at $8 for 6 games a year, it would still be less than a million bucks per season. I would try it and see how much of a hassle it is. If its a problem, take it away. If not, enjoy the revenue.

More than likely they would sell those plastic bottles......

See them for $8.00, cost is less than $1.00, call it 20,000 a game that would be $140,000/game and 6 games a year would be $840,000/year net. I don't know what other concession even approaches those numbers.

add the DWI Dude's number into your phone or write it on your arm in Sharpie. The added revenue getting the scourge that will be extra DWI people off the road will be immense too. I think a lot of people will find themselves in regret after games.

But they are adults and can make their minds up as one, hopefully. Maybe they can sell Coor's and that's not really beer.

When those that make such decisions come together, the elephant in the room will be liability.

They already sell it in the north end zone club so why not everywhere else? Just increase the hell out of DWI enforcement, make some statements and remind people to act as adults, responsible ones. Make 'em do lots of community service and there will be less trash on the sides of the road.

there are enough sober idiots without the ability to consider who is around them before opening their mouths. Putting a beer in their hand is like throwing kerosene on a fire. If they are concerned about revenue, lower the cost of concessions, increase volume sold, and generate more $$ this way. We are not talking about a high efficiency model to begin with.
