UT Baseball/Basketball Conflicts ...

So looks like the baseball/basketball games are going head to head Friday night ... baseball @ 6 pm, basketball @ 6:20. Any chance Texas adjusts the start time of baseball to make up for that ? 3 pm ?

This Nebraska series is likely the biggest home series of the year, and I think attendance Fri/Sun could be zapped due to hoops. I would think Texas would have a contingency plan.

My plan is to go to the baseball game Friday and DVR basketball, but the idiot pressbox announcer will no doubt be updating the score during the Nebraska game.

Sadly, i think UT only cares about "paid" attendance. Actual butts in seats doesn't compute for them.

Two games on Saturday would be great. No one misses either sport. Why worry about missing Friday classes for the boys,they don't get much time in classes anyway?

My understanding is that they will move the start time of the Friday game to 3:00.

The only problem for me is that My son has a baseball game at 7:00 that Friday. I guess I am going to have to leave early from the game and DVR the Basketball game.

Looks like it will be 3 pm. Meaning I miss half the baseball game, but get to see all of the hoops matchup.

I don't think any of the players will miss anymore classes with this start time. Our players all have morning classes and Nebraska will be traveling on Thursday anyway.
