Reports are that a man stabbed three or four people on the main campus. One victim is believed to have died.

The attacker has apparently been subdued.

Received Fenves' email. A heartfelt letter which seems to put more responsibility on the stafff than is due. The campus is STILL in the freest nation on the planet ... that means the authorities cannot prevent such things from happening. That there wasn't a text blast to all faculty/staff/students which affected only that single point on campus isn't a significant failure. A Tornado on the ground at that point and moving fast WOULD warrant such.

I can't believe what this family is going through. His father is dying of ALS...now this.
It is hard to fathom. It sounds like Harrison was a wonderful young man.

Well, this is in the West Mall, so......

Not a lot of reporting on this from what I saw. Black person kills white person. Had it been a white person killing anyone other than another white person, it would have been wall to wall coverage yesterday, and probably 4 or pages of thread on here.
