UT Allocates $225,000 For A Full Academic Review Of The Athletic Department

That much research if it's done correctly isn't cheap. Marsh probably has a staff to pay to help him.

I'm sure they outsourced it so that it would be from an impartial entity and not just UT.

I really don't think Texas will be in any trouble as I would guess most of the "underserved" athletes were placed in the university Longhorn Scholars program along with other students. The athletics could probably wash their hands of impropriety as the LS program was available to all underserved students. I am sure the athletes also received tutoring. Only if there was cheating by the athletics department in addition to LSP and tutoring would there seem to be a problem. But man, that would have to have one dense athlete.

maybe they can do some cost benefit analysis of each staffer to cut some of the chaff so the Texas Athletic department can make as much as KSU after expenses?

I'll review Patterson now and for free...F's across the board.
Brad could you provide the details of his job performance goals given to him by his supervisor and how he has failed to achieve any? I can give you one positive (which shoots down your statement) - hiring of Smart.

Patterson may end up as the worse Men's AD in the history of intercollegiate athletics (I guess to go along with the worse Women's AD ever who as offices in Belmont). However way to soon to say straight "F's" yet.

While Marsh is a good guy, how rich is it that The University of Texas hires an Ohio State Buckeye, who is now on faculty of The University of Alabama to investigate our "corruption"?

I guess Patterson couldn't get Tom Osborne, Donna Schilala, Jerry Sandusky, Urban Myth to serve on the search committee.
