WHY would you think BO supporters heard anything he said in 08?
They were all mesmerized by his" Greatest." ( I did read that some supporters are still waiting for BO to heal the planet. Gore is not one of them)
They have no idea what he promised in 08 and failed to deliver
so it will all be new promises to them in 12

For sure the people BO represented back in 1995 against those evil banks for NOT loaning money to "African Americans" got screwed.

Pandering to the stupid is time tested political technique. It would be stupid not to use it and the people running political campaigns aren't stupid, although they know some voter are. You can certainly have discussions among interested parties on an elevated plane, but if the Republicans didn't get to count the votes of people against Obama because they think he's a Muslim or was born in Kenya, then he'd win so overwhelmingly that he'd probably have a chance to carry Texas. Likewise, the Democrats would fail miserably if they didn't get to count the votes of those who believe only Republicans are willinging to give away the store to well-heeled contributors

Well, Deez, you and I and others who have closely observed the process can have the satisfaction of knowing we're going to get screwed before we vote. I don't know if it is more fun to be surprised, but I take perverse satisfaction in not holding onto unrealistic hope. Just for fun, I think we ought to pull out a Romney victory speech after any successful primary. Write down all the promises and you have a head start on the lies that will be exposed in 20116. I say this with no special hostility towards Romney and I certainly wish him every success in what I expect to be at least four years in the White House. If I thought he could keep his promises, I'd have a Romney sign in the yard and a Romney sticker on both my front and back bumpers. As of now my yard and my bumpers are free of political message.
