Anyone watch this game Saturday night? I didn't get to finish it but I did watch long enough to see this play....sinking line drive to Southern center fielder...diving grab but then ball rolls free. Usc scores on hit....Southern coach comes out ask ump if he held it long enough...play remains same....pitcher pitches a pitch....different ump then calls play an out ruling CF held onto ball long enough run is removed from scoreboard and inning is over.....Southern up to bat. USC coach given the boot...but IMO...he didn't go nearly ballistic enough. Bizarre play......I'm trying to find out if they ever discussed reason for overturning call..AFTER play was already going again!!!!! Anyone watching?
