Looks like USC is sacrificaing the basketball program in deference to the football program.

yeah, my first thought was they're turning themselves in? Sounds like a smoky backroom deal to me. We'll kill a basketball season if you will leave football alone.

The crazy thing is I think it will work. NCAA will stay far away from football.
