From the Daily Breeze online paper. I guess they're still sore about that Rose Bowl thing.

USC's scrimmage on Tuesday was closed to the general public, but open to family members and some boosters. However, no one said anything about Big 12 Conference baseball legends.

Texas baseball coach Augie Garrido, who also coached at Cal State Fullerton and has won five NCAA titles, was kicked out of the Coliseum after he was recognized watching the scrimmage from the field.

USC played Texas for the national championship in the 2006 Rose Bowl, but the teams are not scheduled to meet this season unless they play in a bowl game.

Sources said Garrido did not think it was a problem for him to show up.

A USC official would not comment on how he recognized Garrido.

The Univ. of Spoiled Children probably didn't like upstart CSF taking over their mantle as the best WC baseball school in the late 70's and 80's Augie kicked their ***.

As did our FB teaam.

Dont worry I know someone on the down low and can get into any practice I want. Just can't wear my UT garb. So I"ll happily take over for Augie.
