Absolutely. Phenomenal performance by our teams. I don't think people realize how big the mens win over Brazil was. It was about as likely as the Japan over USA softball game.

The heart that the men showed in a gutsy and challenging win over a powerful Russian team made me wonder how much they had in the tank for the Brazil match. There was so much emotion wrapped up in it with the tragic loss of the coaches father-in-law at the beginning of the games.

It was touching at the end when it all hit home to see his emotions let loose at last. His team felt it and was there for him. Hats off to the bump-set-spikers, male and female, indoor and outdoor. Y'all done did us proud.

Serbia was nasty as well on the way to the men's indoor gold.

Quite a run.

Don't know who the analyst was for indoor vball, but he says he predicted it from the beginning of the olympics due to the US beating Brazil in Brazil to win the World League earlier this year, and since the US is a team on the rise, steadily improving. If so, great prediction, and kudos to him.
