kickoff this evening in Utah is one hour after the Horns game so hopefully it is already 21-0 Texas and there will be chamnces to do flybys in the commercials to this game. US must win this game no ifs ands or buts. Draw or God forbid lose and what was a cake walk to South Africa becomes a minefield.

2-1 good enough. Wow, should have been 3-1 with Altidore in the 57th minute. Off sides? huh? The main ref called it, not the line judge. Hmmmm. On to Wednesday vs T&T.

Yeah, the ref in the middle is in charge and what he says goes. But for him to make a call like that when he was not in position to do it corrctly, in a match as critical as this one was, could have been disaterous. Especially with what Mexico did to Costa Rica. We clearly domintated, but it still took a brilliant save by Howard at the end of the match to keep it from becoming something that we may not have been able to overcome. I mean damn....I always have the refs back and respect the hell out of them. And its not the fact he made a bad call, its the bad judgement he used to make the call in the first place. A bad call is forgivable. Bad judgement is not. All I can say is I hope it caught FIFA's attention.

You would think that FIFA would not allow an Honduran ref to do this game with Honduras being affected by the restult, even the goal differential. This would not be allowed in Europe or South America by the teams involved, but somehow it is here. Do we have to have a ref from a Concacaf nation officiate? I am not sure but bringing in European or South American officials for the final 3 games seems like it would make sense with the importance of these upcoming matches.

Four teams all within 1 point of each other and the team that ends up fourth gets likely Argentina in a play off.

Must win against T&T on the road and hold serve at home against the ticos. I dont want to be in Honduras in a must win game.
