USA leads 2-1 in final World Cup tune up with about 15 minutes left.

Findley's speed has been very impressive and Buddle has both goals from the first half.

A lot of substitutions so no real feel for the team but Bradley's choice of Findley which had been much criticized seems to be paying off.

Gomez adds a late goal in injury time for Americans who win 3-1.

Hard to really get a feel for the game as the substitutions came hard and fast throughout second half. Never-the-less with last weeks win over Turkey and this one today you have to feel good about the team a week out.

Findley showed some speed today with a couple of really nice runs but his finishing is questionable.

England in one week.

I too liked Findley's speed and skills, but he didn't look great with his decision making near the goal...

I didn't really see why the third goal was disallowed. It should have been 4-1 ...

We didn't play our best or anything, but didn't look bad either. Looked like we had enough in reserves to may be kick it up a notch if needed but it wasn't needed. On the other hand, if AUS were a bit better with their finishing and set pieces, they could have made it closer. We did make some defensive mistakes here and there.

Can't wait for next saturday!!!

True, GSJ, that Buddle was impressive. Not a big surprise to me, as I have seen him in enough Galaxy matches. He seems to have got even better though.

Yes, DeMerit was atrocious, and you are spot on that Kennedy was even more atrocious, or they would easily score a couple more on us.
