USA U17 team starts practice

tomorrow at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado through the 17th.

They got one day of practice in Nogent sur Seine, France before an exhibition tournament in the same place June 20-22.

the FIBA U17 tournament begins June 28 through July 6 at Klatovy & Plsen, Czech Republic.

The USA is in Pool D with France, Mali and China.

Hopefully, the games will be online. I am looking forward to seeing how the four Texans do: Lauren Cox, Nancy Mulkey, Nancy Chou and Joyner Holmes.

Sabrina Ionescu Added To The 2014 USA Basketball U17 World Championship Team

She replaces Te'a Cooper, who leaves due to an illness. Tough break for Cooper but an opportunity for Ionescu to add a U17 medal to her U16 gold medal.
