USA U-21 team on FSC right now

Down 1-0 in the 20th minute. We have had absolutely no possession and look completely lost out there. Only Corey Ashe looks like he came to play today.
 
Down 2-0 in the 35th minute.

The entire team looks like crap. Even worse than we looked against North Korea in the first game of the Youth World Cup last summer.
 
Down 2-1 in the 58th minute. Looking much better in the early parts of second half.

Okay...and Turkey scores within a minute of us scoring to make it 3-1.

Horrible, horrible first half and a defensive lapse after our first goal in the second half cost us dearly.

Man of the Match was clearly Kamani Hill who came on in the second half and took over the 10 spot after Feilhaber left with an injury. The team looked much better with him on the pitch. What is going on with Benny....He looked terrible out there today. Originally I thought it was the run of play that was keeping him out of it but the minute Hill slid into that spot the USA looked much better.

Note - This is actually the U-23 team as they made a change for this years tournament considering the Olympics are coming up. Obviously this team is not at it's strongest missing players like Altidore, Adu and Sasha K. Turkey actually decided to bring it's U-21 team but as is typical with other nations their team has a lot more experience playing together.

Ivory Coast vs Italy is coming up next.
 
Also...For any FC Dallas fans....Brek Shea came on for Feilhaber in the second half and looked EXTREMELY good on the left side of the field. He pushed the pace and really impacted the game. On a ball in the air he beat his man to the ball caught it off the chest at the top of the box but pushed it wide as his jersey was being pulled...Probably should have been a foul but oh well.
