Last friendly of year was Wednesday in Russia and USA got a 2-2 draw, great result on road in Europe where USA has traditionally struggled and that draw ended on a high note a very roller coaster year.

The Klinsmann experiment at least so far has been a success though if not for some EJ magic in Antigua and a blowout three days later of minnow Guatemala, we might be talking about a disastrous year and a new coach for 2015 while the USA waits for 2018 qualifying to begin. Instead the hexagonal begins next year and the USA is certainly on an uptick
