How secure is Bradley?

I'm trying to keep up with all the rumors surrounding the next hire at Stamford Bridge, and there are PLENTY of guys that would OBVIOUSLY be a step up from Bradley.

Can, or would, US Soccer even attempt to make a run at someone from Europe (not sure how close Klinsmann was actually) today???

From what I understand, those in the power positions don't want to give up control if and when they hired a real coach. Something about how a European coach would want more control over what happens at the academy level.

I know a couple of AYSO coaches that would do a better job than the asshat we have now.

I've read on a couple of other boards when throwing out names for a possible new US coach, people will comment-

"But he doesn't know the US system." "He's not familiar with the US system."

Well the system seems to be CRAP, so maybe that's for the best.

Why wouldn't you just want a good coach to come in and pick the right players, get certain players to work on certain things, and then get players to perform better than they had before.

Coaches aren't around for more than a few years anyway, why does it matter if they "know the system" or not?
