US Women's soccer team takes on Sweden tonight at 8pm on ESPN. They also play again on Saturday night

It was worth a shot...

I missed part of the first half but so far no fake dives and injuries!

US tied 1-1 and had several chances up top that they couldn't finish. I think they should have beaten Sweden and hopefully they will do so on Saturday. Top team in the world are US/Germany then Brazil and Sweden

Actually, it would be! Women's soccer is rough, aggressive and played much more fundamentally sound. You see them get obliterated on a tackle or something and get right back up and run after the ball. I enjoy watching the Texas Women's team as they go at it full tilt. I will watch Women's sports live but not on tv if I can help it.

This excludes Womens pro tennis (depending on who is playing) and most beach volleyball.

sad to see the women tie a very winnable game. hard to believe that they havent given up a lead since 2002.

Game 2 is right now on Fox Soccer Channel. US is up 2-0 at half. First goal by Megan Rapione (sp?) and 2nd goal was a beautiful header from Abby Wambach
